Organizations around the world are working to unlock the potential of technology and design to be used in the public interest. They’re improving how governments work with and support technologists, reimagining democratic and civic participation, or building open source tools to empower communities to scale their impact. This panel will introduce you to three ‘Code For’ leaders, as they share and discuss the unique form that civic technology takes in their respective countries.

  • Luke Simcoe, Director of Outreach, Code for Canada
  • Adriana Groh, Director, Prototype Fund, Open Knowledge Foundation
  • Matthew McNaughton, Executive Director, SlashRoots Foundation
