Senior Data Solutions Integrator/Data Science Team Lead (City of Toronto)

The Senior Data Solutions Integrator will join the Transportation Data & Analytics Unit, a leading team who are responsible for data science, data operations, data collection and digital products in Transportation Services.

The Senior Data Solutions Integrator will report to the Manager of Transportation Data & Analytics and will be responsible for leading the Data Science team, one of four teams within the Unit. This role requires both strong team leadership ability as well as a strong body of technical expertise in the fields of data science, data analytics and their application to transportation and civic issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for motivating, developing and coaching staff while prioritizing the work of the team, identifying new high-impact project opportunities and overseeing the project work of the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in one of Canada’s top civic data teams, deliver important work related to transportation, road safety, equity and emerging mobility with an opportunity to drive policy and evidence to improve transportation for all City of Toronto residents.

Senior Service Designer (Nova Scotia Department of Cyber Security & Digital Solutions)

As part of Human Centred Service Design Team you’ll work closely with the Digital Health Enablement on the One Patient One Record project. You’ll conduct user research, interpret the research into user insights, then identify opportunities for process enhancements. You’ll work with a variety of stakeholders including developers, health policy makers, and front-line health workers to transform healthcare in Nova Scotia. You’ll also work on other projects across Government of Nova Scotia departments to help improve services for Nova Scotians.

Senior Systems Integrator (Ontario Clean Water Agency)

The Ontario Clean Water Agency works with clients to help them build healthy sustainable communities and organizations and provide safe and reliable drinking water to thousands of Ontarians each day.

In this role you will:

  • Lead digital transformation programs and projects that translate the strategy and vision into systems, platforms and applications that deliver real time actionable insights and allow for data driven business decisions and process optimization.
     
  • Establish and deliver new business opportunities for SCADA and Industrial Control Systems, to generate new revenue and business streams through the implementation of emerging technologies including consolidating the agency's position as a total solution and services provider.
     
  • Drive the culture change associated with digital transformation through active mentorship and education programs at all agency level, engaging actively with stakeholders to promote enhance and contribute to the general vision and strategy and its delivery.

Applied Scientist in Data Science (Government of Manitoba)

Manitoba’s Data Science Program is recruiting for an Applied Scientist (Data Scientist) who will join a supportive and high-performing team with an exciting mission to transform government.

The Data Science Program is housed in Manitoba Health but works across the entire public sector to apply machine learning and advanced analytics to improve our communities, ecosystems, and services.

Applied Scientists assist in complex projects in our portfolio as individual contributors in a production data science environment. They apply data science and machine learning to support government’s objectives in fields ranging from agriculture to education, climate, and health. Individual contributors in the Data Science Program work across subject areas and are exposed to wide range of policy and operational domains.
