Connecting non-profits with civic tech volunteers
Nonprofits and other organizations with a public mandate are often forced to do more with less — especially less digital resources.
Our Civic Tech Marketplace (CTMP) pilot is intended to connect public-benefit organizations with digital professionals who are ready to volunteer their skills towards a cause they care about.
This year, we continued to test the model by connecting HQ Toronto — a community-focused healthcare center for cis guys into guys, as well as two-spirit, transgender, and non-binary individuals — with skilled volunteers to analyze the centre’s data for relevant insights and conduct user research with key stakeholders to identify possible improvements to the centre’s workflow and client experience.
Still a work in progress, but one we’re committed to exploring more in 2025.
