What is Civic Tech Marketplace?
Civic Tech Marketplace connects public-benefit organizations with digital professionals who are ready to volunteer their skills towards a cause they care about.
The marketplace is powered by Code for Canada - a national nonprofit dedicated to leveraging modern digital skills and technology to improve life in Canada. Since 2017, we have been partnering with government and nonprofit teams to help meet the diverse needs of people across the country.

Volunteers apply to challenges
Organizations will receive a list of volunteer applicants and their profiles.
Organizations assemble their teams
Organizations reach out to their preferred applicants, and we can help advise on suitability.
Challenge kicks-off!
Organizations and volunteers receive a bundle of resources and frameworks to help set their project up for success.
Challenge support
Organizations and volunteers are working directly on the challenge, with ad hoc support and coaching available on digital best practices and tools.
